UGANDA Revenue Authority (URA) FC have been handed a daunting task against Zambian champions Zanaco FC in the CAF Champions League preliminary fixtures starting February next year.

But the other Ugandan representatives in the continental show SC Villa will make a return to the CAF Confederations Cup against lesser known Sudanese side Al Khartoum.

Both the Champions League and the Confederations Cup kick off with the preliminary round in February.

Uganda’s representatives will launch their campaigns from home turf on February 13.

Founded in 1985 as a publicity tool for Zambia National Commercial Bank, Zanaco FC appeared in the CAF champions League in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007 and in the Confederations Cup 2001 and 2002.

Moses Basena’s URA is making their third shot in the Champions League after having fallen in the preliminaries previously.
