The Democratic Party (DP) president, John Ssebaana, wants the Government to inject more money in the country’s health sector.

He said many Ugandans who cannot travel abroad for treatment were dying because of the country’s poor health sector.

Ssebaana noted that most of the good doctors were leaving the country for better jobs abroad. He asked the Government to address the situation urgently.

Ssebaana made the remarks on Sunday during the thanksgiving ceremony for Betty Nambooze, the DP spokesperson.

She returned from South Africa last week where she had gone for treatment after developing an intestinal complication.

The ceremony was started with a service at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wantoni, Mukono town council.
