Aryemo will captain coach Franco Otieno’s outfit in Uganda’s search for another regional title after lifting the East Africa women trophy in Nairobi last month.

UNF trims She Cranes squad

NETBALL - The national netball team, the She Cranes, players are experiencing a nervous moment as they wait to learn who makes the team for the African qualifiers in March in Windhoek, Namibia. The Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) has been forced to cut down the number of players to travel to 26 from the previous 32 due to financial constraints. UNF needs sh17m to make the trip.

Clubs target students base

SOCCER - The Super Division clubs, in a bid to woo more fans to the stadia, have decided to start fans’ bases in education institutions from the primary level. While meeting the Uganda Super League Committee at the FUFA House in Mengo on Monday, all clubs agreed that it is difficult to attract fans from the aged and the solution is to go back to education institutions.
