“With field engineering you deal with bombs, mines and obstacles in war. You make a mistake only once, your first mistake is most probably your last. In civil engineering, a brick falls and you get another,” President Yoweri Museveni, addressing UPDF field engineers at Magamaga.

“Pornography is a poison to the mind. It fuels sexual crimes like rape and defilement. It destroys marriages and turns values upside down. Some of these values have stood the test of time,” state minister for ethics and integrity Dr James Nsaba Buturo, about rising incidences of pornography.

“His candidate was thoroughly defeated. He is now embarrassed. No wonder, he has started creating situations and making false accusations. I think he is a frustrated man who needs to see a psychiatrist,” state for local government minister Hope Mwesigye, about Lwemiyaga county MP Theodore Ssekikubo’s accusations that he is being witchhunted.

“Well, that is the minister’s assessment. But in most cases, it is mad people who look at other people and call them mad,” MP Theodore Ssekikubo, reacting to Hope Mwesigye’s attack.

It is unbelievable that up to now the police have done nothing about this man Let them come out and tell the public about the findings of their investigations,” FDC President Col (rtd) Kizza Besigye referring to William Ssekubulwa who alleged that some FDC top leaders wanted to murder Beti Kamya.
