BE adventurous this season. Put on that dazzling sexy outfit and go watch The Ebonies. The group is at home at Theatre La Bonita where its expertise use of props for the spectacle cannot go unnoticed.

The drama, My Valentine, will be show-casing tomorrow at 7:00pm. Bobi Wine and the Firebase Crew will be guest performers. Do not fret if you miss the Saturday show because there will be another show on Sunday.

Discounts shall be available for those who buy tickets in advance. For the Bat Valley Theatre season opener, you had better hurry. The star-studded cast brings together Bakayimbira Dramactors and Afri-Talent, in the play, Ekimala Ebitta; The Golden Calabash.“It is a play with a lot of love themes and scenes,” says Benon Kibuuka, the director.

You will not look out of place if you turn up with only your friends of the same sex. Bat Valley offers a good theatre moment.

Valentine’s Day hangover theatrical treatment will be at the National Theatre on Thursday, courtesy of Theatre Factory. “Most of the skits will revolve around love and an interpretation of events that happen on Valentines’ Day,” says the groups publicity head, Richard Tuwangye.

The show will kick off at 8:30pm. This weekend is not your typical example of season openers when productions appear half-rehearsed.

The groups come to the stage as read-to-view. It is the only chance you have to watch these plays.
