THE body of former Police and Bunamwaya footballer Alex Katete was expected in the country last night.
Uganda’s High Commissioner to India Nimisha Madhvani confirmed yesterday that the remains of Katete, who died last week, would be in Kampala by today.
Katete was declared dead Tuesday morning after suffering a heart. He had just scored a penalty in the 2-1 defeat of his Indian club George Telegraph to Shillong Lajong on Monday.
He was making his debut in the I League. Madhvani is currently in Kampala.
