KAYUNGA-A woman died on the spot after she was knocked down by a speeding vehicle, registration number H4DF 804, in Kangulumira sub-county on Friday. The deceased was identified as Teopista Nambiza, 35. The district Police chief, Charles Muwagira, attributed the accident to reckless driving. Nambiza’s son, Robert Bateganya, 8, who survived the accident, said: “The vehicle swerved towards us and I jumped out of the road. It swept away my mother but the driver did not stop.â€
