Parliament is expected to dispose of business before it breaks off for recess to allow the renovation of the chambers in preparation for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM). Although official communication has not yet been made, Parliament leadership took a decision on the matter last week. Plenary sessions are expected to resume in the first week of November. However, the legal affairs committee is planning to use the recess to dig into its backlog of business. They intend to retreat at Entebbe Resort Beach Hotel.
