International Criminal court sued over rent

UGANDA Communications Commission (UCC) has sued the International Criminal Court for sh200m in rent, electricity and repairs. It is sued jointly with a local company, DNA Cable and Challenge, a property agent.

UGANDA Communications Commission (UCC) has sued the International Criminal Court for sh200m in rent, electricity and repairs. It is sued jointly with a local company, DNA Cable and Challenge, a property agent.

The firm allegedly signed the tenancy agreement on behalf of the court to occupy the 7th floor of the Communications House at $7,605 per month.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had asked UCC to halt the court action to allow the international court settle the matter out of court.
