CENTE Rhinos star John Musoke is fit to play in this weekend’s Hima Makerere International Rugby 10s tournament at Kyadondo.

Musoke has been out with a hamstring injury sustained during national duty at the CAR Africa Cup in Madagascar in September.

Musoke’s inclusion in the squad is a major boost for Rhinos, that are drawn in the ‘group of death’ with defending champions utl Kobs, Strathmore University and Buffaloes.

“It’s nice rejoining the team. We are in a rebuilding process and there has been a rise in our performance — we could surprise everybody in this tournament,” Musoke warned.

Rhinos have stepped up their game since they landed sh20m sponsorship from Centenary Bank last month.

Musoke downplayed the challenge posed by Kenyan teams, singling out Kobs as the team to beat. “The title will certainly remain in Uganda. We have worked hard this week and hope to make it to the quarterfinals and then move on.”

No foreign team has ever won the tournament. Harlequins and Mean Machine are among the formidable teams coming.
