A taxi driver, who allegedly drove into President Yoweri Museveni’s motorcade, has been arrested.

According to Jinja Road Police Station chief Joel Aguma, Isaac Waisswa joined the convoy at Kireka, blocking the other vehicles in Museveni’s entourage.

The President was going to Kiwanga, Mukono district to open a plant that makes packaging materials.

“He interfered with the movement of the President’s vehicles,” Aguma stated.
Security personnel picked up Waisswa and handed him to Aguma’s team.
