AN eleventh hour disagreement has forced a substitution in Jackson Asiku’s Commonwealth title defence.
Information from Asiku’s stable in Australia where the fight will be held, showed that the Ugandan will now face Australian champion Matt Powell and not Ghana’s Osumanu Akaba.

Sources from Akaba’s base in London however noted that the change could be the result of a disagreement Asiku had with Akaba’s stable.

One of the figures behind Akaba is Danny Lutaya who fell out with Asiku early this year. This was after Lutaya, failed to secure Asiku a world title.

Asiku and Powell, 10(3)3-2 will weigh in today in the Green Machine Promotions fight.
