In your song, Mundenke, you sing of Mr. Right. Who is he?
I am still waiting for him. With time I will get one and so, I am not panicking. I don’t have to sing about my life. A friend wrote the song for me. Musicians may sing about personal emotions but it is not a rule.
What about Ogaba Okufu of Enyabumba fame? People said he was your man.
Ogaba has never been my man. He is a just a friend. People mistook me for his girlfriend because his girlfriend is my best friend.
And Gen Kazini? There were talks that you two are like Adam and Eve.
Oh my God! Kazini is my maternal uncle but it is you the press guys who misinterpreted his financial assistance. He is my benefactor and we are always together because he supports my career and I benefited a lot from his Umoja jazz Band.
So, what are you going to do? Use Meeting Point in Saturday Vision?
Not really. I am a Mutoro and in our culture, females are not supposed to search for husbands.
Is it not the Batooro who say ‘omusaija tayangwa’ (meaning; a man is never refused)?
That is a very old cultural phrase that is quoted out of context. Batooro women were not allowed to search for men. Arranged marriages were made and women were supposed to just accept.

But am I not a striking beauty? Actually, my biggest challenge now is who to accept. Many men are running after me but I haven’t been convinced of their seriousness. But that confirms that Mr. Right is on the way.
Who qualifies as Mr Right?
He must be decent, honourable, educated, diplomatic, genuine, loving and sure of himself.
Talk about your conflicts with Tindatine and Lady Marion?
I don’t have any conflicts with Miriam (Tindatine) because we suffered together when she was still this way in Romax Band. But for Lady Marion, we developed misunderstanding but it is not over a man.
