NILE Cricket Club opening bowler Roger Mukasa dwarfed the Africa Cricket Club fielders, hitting an unbeaten century as his side won yesterday’s Castle Lager premier league tie by 8 wickets.

Mukasa had the sloppy field to thank, not only for dropping him, but also for helping him to hit a series of boundaries.
The player hit the ball in all directions to register 19 fours enroute to 103 (not out).

But the ACC bowlers restricted Martin Ondeku to (19) and Abraham Oduchi to (10). The more composed Nile raced to 160-2 after their opponents posted 159 to claim victory.

Elsewhere, Charity also beat Lagan by eight wickets in another game played in Kampala. Action will continue in the annual competition this weekend.
