Mozey, Weasel hold Jinja fans spellbound

Last Friday night at Cool Breeze Hotel in Jinja, town dwellers came out in droves and jam-packed the venue to watch performances from top artistes like Toniks, Aziz Azion, Cindy, Irene Namubiru, Peter Miles, Menshan, Gen. Mega Dee, Henry Tigan and Mozey R

Last Friday night at Cool Breeze Hotel in Jinja, town dwellers came out in droves and jam-packed the venue to watch performances from top artistes like Toniks, Aziz Azion, Cindy, Irene Namubiru, Peter Miles, Menshan, Gen. Mega Dee, Henry Tigan and Mozey Radio & Weasel.
But the latter took the day, holding the audience spellbound with a string of their hits from Ngamba to Nyambura, Nakutamani, and Zuena. Their performance of Bread and Butter was the most engaging with the crowd surging forward to join them on stage.
Bukedde FM’s Bill Butoddene was the emcee along side NBS FM’s Lubowa Kyemba. The show was the first of Zain’s ‘Dance with Your Stars’ series, in conjunction with Bell lager this year. First launched in 2007, the annual event takes the country’s celebrated artistes to their fans upcountry.
