WITH people’s schedules getting busier, one hardly gets time to rush to a supermarket for the week’s shopping.

However, there is no need to worry as many supermarkets are changing the face of shopping by introducing home delivery services to their customers.

Robert Kiyimba, a sales person at Kenjoy Supermarket Najjanankumbi says: “We can shop on behalf of our customers.” He adds that such services are available in all Kenjoy supermarkets around Kampala.

So how is this done? The supermarkets have got telephone numbers which customers can call to make their orders.

“Your shopping can be done with just a phone call. All you have to do is have a list of your requirements ready before making that call,” Kiyimba says.

Similar services can be offered at Payless supermarkets in Bugoloobi and Bukoto.
The service specifically intends to help customers located in the vicinity of the supermarkets.

Home delivery is normally free of charge on items that cost above sh25,000.

If the items are less than sh25,000, the customer pays sh2,000 for the delivery. And there is no limit to what one can order for. The service makes shopping easier.

Whether one is in an institution, a residential location or office, whatever they need is just a call away.
