Red cross in swine flu drive<br>- BUSIA<br>Uganda Red Cross has started a community awareness drive about swine flu. The trainees, who include volunteers and health workers, will operate at the main border entry points to screen incoming people.

Uganda Red Cross has started a community awareness drive about swine flu. The trainees, who include volunteers and health workers, will operate at the main border entry points to screen incoming people. Stephen Wamukota,the Red Cross coordinator, said the exercise is aimed at sensitising communities on how to respond and prevent the spread of the disease. While addressing the meeting on Friday, the district chairperson, Patrick Were Wedakule, said people stationed at the border points should be polite to the guests.

Body found on Tirinyi road

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man on the Tirinyi highway. Khasule Ogwal, the district traffic Police chief, said on Sunday the body was found near Busembatia town on Saturday. He said the deceased’s head was smashed beyond recognition. He said the man could have been killed nearby and the body dumped on the road.
