THE Government has earmarked sh60m to a bulldozer for cattle-keepers in Luweero and Rwenzori regions. Nyombi Tembo, the Luweero Triangle state minister, said the scheme was aimed at helping cattle keeping communities in the former Luweero Triangle build water dams.

“The scheme, which kicks off in October, will start in the sub-counties of Ngoma and Kinyogoga, both in Nakaseke district,” he said. Nyombi, who was meeting cattle-keepers in the two areas, said the scheme also aimed at supplementing the Government efforts to provide enough water for them.

He added that the bulldozer would be hired by his ministry at sh60m for two months and kept at Ngoma sub-county headquarters.
