Bravo, KPMG

If there is one thing that has tickled my mind, it is The New Vision’s stunning revelations of former NSSF boss David Chandi Jamwa’s scandals.

If there is one thing that has tickled my mind, it is The New Vision’s stunning revelations of former NSSF boss David Chandi Jamwa’s scandals.

I think this is a great job by not only KPMG, but also by The New Vision for breaking the news at a time when things are falling apart in NSSF.

First, it was the Temangalo saga, secondly the collapse of the wall at an excavation site which killed over five workers.

Thirdly, there was the shocking Alcon court suit where workers might lose over sh20b out of no fault of their own. And now, the killer one—gambling with NSSf funds in American casinos.

NSSF’s gods must be crazy! I have travelled a bit. One thing that strikes a visitor to the US is the booming gambling business in the US.

The moment you step there with some disposable income, one of the temptations you might never resist is gambling.

This is a clear testimony of how not only Jamwa, but many managing directors have stolen, extorted and manipulated funds in the various organisations they head.

I know some Ugandan companies that connive with audit firms to give false impressions about their financial status.
