- Top athletes Isaac Kiprop, Boniface Kiprop and Wilson Busienei have confirmed participation in Sunday’s national half marathon. The race will count to their battle for slots on the team to the 11th IAAF world meet due October 25 in Birmingham, Britain.
Athletics publicist Namayo Mawerere yesterday said the trio is among 100 runners that have confirmed their participation in the event whose start and finish is slated for Namboole.
