They are educated, working and ready to do anything to have fun and socialise. Kampala’s new social action network is destined to create a class of young corporates as well as the educated rich.

It started a month ago at Najing Restaurant in Kololo, where a glamorous party was organised to launch the network. About 1,000 members have so far been registered on its group wall.

The network is known as 360 degrees network and its basic idea is to transform the existing virtual social networks to the real world and enhance members’ knowledge, skills, opportunities and lifestyles.

The network brings together people who chat on various social networks into one major social group.

This is a live Facebook network. Members and those interested in social action, meet every month at big parties. The next party will take place on October 8 at the Commonwealth Resort Beach, Munyonyo.

Unlike sitting in front of the active screen reading and chatting online, fans interact with the friends they probably meet for the first time.

They also party, dance, feast and learn new things from various discussions. The event where the network forums are held attracts the social groups comprising local celebrities.
