WORLD soccer governing body FIFA has dismissed a petition filed by FUFA presidential hopeful Godfrey Kwizera.

Kwizera had sought FIFA’s intervention in Uganda’s electoral process, which he said was being manipulated by the current FUFA executive of Lawrence Mulindwa.

But in a three-paragraph communication to Kwizera copied to African soccer body CAF and FUFA, the world body said it saw no anomaly.

“FIFA’s legal department reviewed your comments and concluded that, FIFA can not follow your arguments,” the letter reads.

Kwizera was vice president in the Denis Obua-regime.
