K’jong protest over humps
MOROTO - Traffic was temporarily paralysed on Thursday morning along Moroto-Soroti Road as Karimojong youth warriors protested against the Ministry of Works for failing to set up road humps. The protest came after a speeding government vehicle, knocked dead Joseph Lotipo, who was trying to cross the road. Warriors carried logs and big stones to set up humps that could not be driven over by small cars, forcing the Police to intervene.
