KAMPALA RDC Alice Muwanguzi’s meeting with residents of the Central Division, on Wednesday, turned rowdy. This followed the residents’ claims of neglect by NRM, a party they claim to be members of.
“We are only remembered when there are celebrations in the country. The NRM party has got people in senior positions that have got a different mentality from that of President Museveni.
“If Museveni was to leave the NRM party and stand as an independent, he would easily beat the NRM. That shows how weak we are,†claimed the Kampala district’s Boda boda mobiliser Simon Kabaya.
Muwanguzi spent about an hour trying to calm the residents. She promised to use all available avenues to deal with these issues.
