BANK of Africa has given out a car worth sh12m to the best performing employee in the staff sales competition, writes Samuel Balagadde.
Hussein Jingo, who wooed customers worth sh1b from July to December 2007, received a Toyota Corona.
Kwame Ahadzi, the managing director, said the competition was among the staff motivation schemes put in place to boost their morale in order to get improved services.
“We have given out several prizes to various staff who have excelled. The bank is expanding at a fast rate and needs vibrant staff to foster its plans,â€Ahadzi said.
Jingo said he deserved the prize because he had been working tirelessly to ensure the public gets to know the good banking services offered by the bank.
