Fabian files new charges against Polama
FABIAN finds out about the meeting with the exporters and he asks Maldonado to warn the police. He also calls off the meeting. Diego learns that Polama is on her next flight to Mexico. Mariano plans to go to Mexico to assist Diego and Polama. Fabian plans on blackmailing Roberto Perez to have him confess that Polama was his accomplice in the fictitious exports. During the family meeting Fabian promises Inez that he will withdraw the charges against Diego. He also warns Bernardo that should he speak, his friend Manuel will rot in prison. Jorge le Tore and Daniella arrive for the meeting with the exporters only to find that Fabian cancelled it. They try to warn Diego but the Police close in on him. Diego, however, escapes thanks to Aurelio. At City Hall, Juan Francisco confesses that he suspects Fabian for being responsible for the fictitious exports. Poloma returns from London but doesn’t know that Fabian has filed fresh charges against her! Will he get away with it this time?

Maki tries to commit suicide
Marina tells Maki that Juan took Floresita away from her in order to make Fanny happy because she cannot have children. Maki escapes from the hospital and tries to commit suicide. She is rescued by a Good Samaritan but everybody thinks she is dead. Juan asks Fanny for forgiveness and asks that they adopt Floresita. Fanny agrees on condition that the child is registered as hers and that they move to Paris. Father Higino is told that Maki is alive. Carlitas confesses to Father Higino to have put drugs in Maki’s house in order to have her arrested. He says he was hired by Juan but Father Higino does not believe him. Maki has a successful surgery and acquires a new look. She also changes her name to Suraya and features on the cover pages of international magazines. Saul sets up Marcos in order too take over his company.
