Allow me to comment on the habit of fixing empty first aid kit boxes in matatus (commuter taxis. As if that is not enough, empty fire extinguishers are also fitted in these vehicles. On February 16, I was shocked and at the same time amazed by the drama when a passenger was pierced by a sharp object
Allow me to comment on the habit of fixing empty first aid kit boxes in matatus (commuter taxis. As if that is not enough, empty fire extinguishers are also fitted in these vehicles. On February 16, I was shocked and at the same time amazed by the drama when a passenger was pierced by a sharp object while on board. The first aid kit was full of old dirty pieces of cloth.
It should be noted that this is violation of passengers’ rights. Uganda Passengers’ Protection Association, appeals to all stake holders and the concerned authorities to address this issue before it gets out of control.
