SAMANTHA Nsemere lost her mother at a tender age and this gave her the determination to be an achiever in life.

The 18-year-old Kyebambe Girls School student, who studied History, Economics, Literature, Divinity, scored 23 points.

“I lost my mother at the age of eight. My father went abroad and I lost touch with him. I thank my uncle (Bob Kagoro) for helping me achieve my dream by paying my school fees,” a beaming Nsemere said. Since childhood, she has been amazed by computers and now wants to pursue a degree in information technology, preferably at Uganda Christian University Mukono.

Nsemere lives with Kagoro in Seguku on Entebbe Road. During the vacation, she has been working with Shalom Forex Bureau in Kampala.
