ANGELO Twesigye is the first winner of a dream trip to the Beijing Olympics Games. The 15-year-old primary seven pupil of Nyamityobora Primary School beat other entrants during the western region draw at Mbarara Independence Gardens on Saturday.

It was a perfect reward for Twesigye who submitted 120 entries among thousands in the on-going Coca-Cola sports promotion in the region.

Coca-Cola is a part sponsor of the International Olympic Committee programmes including the Olympic Games.

Twesigye, an Arsenal fan with no knowledge of any Ugandan sportsman, said he was happy to go for the biggest sporting event in the world.

“I am happy that at last I will also board a plane," said the teenager who was flanked by his dad John Byarugaba.

The promotion that ends next month will enable four Ugandans travel to Beijing.
The draw for Mbale (eastern), Lira (northern) and Kampala (central) will produce other winners.
