EMERGING Markets Group, an international development consulting firm, has launched a healthcare project for employees.
The three-year project that commenced in 2007, is being funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
Barbara Addy, the chief of party, said the project would work with the private sector to find cost-effective ways to ensure access and utilisation of vital health services for employees, their dependants and their communities.
“Extending health services improves the quality of employees, which companies will profit from because their employees will be more productive through quality health services,†she said.
