APOLLO Kaggwa, who hosts the Gospel Show on Light House Television, will this weekend, launch his Gospel album, Obulungi Bwo at Ggaba Community Church.

The titles on Kaggwa’s CD cover are rather deceptive; Obulungi Bwo (Your Beauty), Mukwano Gwange (My Friend), Mwagala (I Love Him/Her), yet all these are Gospel songs.

Obulungi Bwo, the title track, is about the goodness of Jesus. Others songs are Mukwano Gwange and Mwagala, Biyinzika (All is possible), and Ozali Nzambe.

“My music is all about glorifying God. I am doing what he has instructed me to do,” says the 28-year old, who is also the programme coordinator of the Africa Renewal Ministries.

Kaggwa says music is his calling. “It’s deep within me. Without music, I feel depressed. It is a talent I have nurtured from my church choir. I want to glorify God in my own words and style.”

Entrance is free to the show that opens at 5:00pm. Gospel artistes, Wilson Bugembe and Joan Makumbi will be there.
