MTN, switch me back!

Jun 28, 2008

I am not happy with the way MTN is treating its customers. Many, if not all, ‘pay As You go’ customers were sent an SMS proposing to switch us to ‘Pay Per second’. MTN said customers who did not want to should send a text to 160 and say so.

Customers know what services MTN offers and which of those services they prefer and are willing to pay for! Therefore, to ‘force’ us to pay exorbitant fees of sh10 per second when other networks like CELTEL are offering the same services for as low as sh3 is thievery.

I want to be reinstated to ‘pay As You go’. MTN switched me to ‘Pay Per Second’ they should switch me back to ‘Pay
As You Go’!

MTN says customers have the option to stay on the price plan of their choice. Any customer who wishes to revert to ‘Pay as You Go’ should type *151*1//
