THE first batch of Uganda’s contingent to the Summer Olympics (left) is in Beijing set for the games. The team is led by general team manager Justine Ligyalingi and team doctor Ntege Ssengendo.
THE first batch of Uganda’s contingent to the Summer Olympics is in Beijing set for the games.
Norman Katende reports that the team was received at the airport by Chief De Mission Roger Ddungu before they were driven to the games village to activate their accreditation.
The team is led by general team manager Justine Ligyalingi and team doctor Ntege Ssengendo. It also has coaches Simon Mugabi (badminton), Simon Mugisha (swimming), Dominic Otuchet (athletics), Jimenez Gonzalez (boxing), Ronald Serugo (team captain), Mubarak Kivumbi (weightlifter), Gilbert Kaburu (swimmer).
