WE have been reliably informed that popular Radio DJ Masta Robbo (formerly Rasta Rob) will hit the Ugandan airwaves on August 11 at the Rubaga-based Super FM.
WE have been reliably informed that popular Radio DJ Masta Robbo (formerly Rasta Rob) will hit the Ugandan airwaves on August 11 at the Rubaga-based Super FM.
Masta Robbo, who recently revealed that he settled for Super FM despite all the lucrative deals that were being thrown his way, will host a daily evening show dubbed the ‘Supersonic Show’ from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
No word yet about his remuneration but unconfirmed reports claim that, like the station’s veterans Mulindwa Muwonge and Stuart Mutebi, he has a stake in the company. Hmmm.
Meanwhile, she has been a part-time presenter on the station where she was host of the Dream Breakfast Show, a four-hour morning show on Saturday alongside Hakeem “The Dream†Now, however, UBC TV news anchor Jackie Lumbasi has joined the Kamwokya-based Capital FM on a full-time basis.
The bubbly Jackie has replaced Gloria who has been Gaetano Kaggwa’s co-host on the Big Breakfast. Gloria now joins Alex Ndawula on the daily afternoon Overdrive show.
