Carlos Eduardo comes too and doesn’t remember how he got on Jennifer’s bed. Jennifer begs him to forgive her, that she just wanted another chance. Carlos Eduardo wonders how she could stoop so low. Carlos Eduardo tells his mother and Rosario about Jennifer’s lies and they are shocked. He goes to apologise to Luisa Fernanda but she slaps him instead; she doesn’t give him a chance to explain. Amelia tells Luisa Fernanda to pack up her belongings because they are moving to a mansion. When Vanessa tells Luisa Fernanda that they are expecting an estranged daughter and grand daughter at the Alcantara house, she still doesn’t figure it out.
Pedro resigns from his job at the bank because of the way Carlos Eduardo treated Luisa Fernanda. Amelia too resigns because she is going back home. Don Alcantara is nervously awaiting the arrival of Amelia. Amelia tells Luisa Fernanda to get in the car and they leave. On the way, they get into an argument and Amelia tells Luisa Fernanda that Pedro is not her father. Amelia swerves off the road and their car overturns. Will they survive the accident?

Esther goes to see Floresita and asks her if she can give their relationship another chance. Esther, however, only wants to get money from her. Floresita loses her virginity to Diego. He later proposes but she declines saying it is too soon. Fabiola finds Nacho stealing the company books. When she confronts him, he blackmails her saying he will tell everyone that she slept with him yet he is a minor.
Nacho takes the books to Esther. Esther gives the books to her attorney to have them altered. Nacho then returns the altered books to the company. Alicia continues to stalk Nacho. Nacho tells her to get a life and leave him alone, he even slaps her. Alicia goes home and slits her wrists. Her parents find her on the floor in her room and rush her to the hospital. Mauricio starts to uncover that Juan Francisco was murdered.
He confronts Esther about it but she denies. Esther’s lawyer calls the police and tips them that Maki’s company is defaulting on its taxes. The tax inspectors come and arrest her. Nacho confesses to Fabiola that Esther asked him to steal the books. Fabiola records their conversation but Maki refuses to use it because Fabiola might go to jail. Will Maki go to jail instead?

Maria Clara signs papers giving up her fortune. Lisandro tells Barbara that he won’t take back the inheritance. Ricardo listens to Maria Clara in the shower and even contemplates raping her.
Braulio and Alexander keep watch on Florencio’s house. When Ricardo comes to fetch Coralia and Andrea to take them back to his house so they can talk to Maria Clara, they follow them. When Maria Clara leaves the house to go pick her daughter from the mansion, Braulio and Alexander kidnap her. She passes out in the car but when she wakes up, she grabs the steering wheel and they crash. She attempts to escape but they capture and take her to a cabin.
They wait for Barbara to come and get rid of her. Gilberto doesn’t die but Vilma returns to Miami thinking that he’s dead. Andrea and Braulio are also growing close. Erasmo cautions her to stay away from Braulio. Maria Clara finds a phone and calls Coralia telling her that Braulio kidnapped her. Braulio and Alexander find her on phone and start to panic. Braulio wants them to wait for Barbara but Alexander is scared that she called the police. He goes to the car and calls Lisandro. Will he put all the blame on Braulio?
