REMEMBER the hit More Money? The song that tickled men because it dealt with he influence of money in relationships. Napoleon (Innocent Asiimwe) became a household name then, but he fizzled out joining the queue of one-hit wonders.

Things were not helped by the fact that in 2004, Napoleon was involved in a car accident and was hospitalised. Doctors advised him not to perform until he had recovered. Consequently the More Money album was never launched.

Now, Napoleon wants to win back his fans thus his latest project. Off the forthcoming album are three songs in Mwana Muwala, Ekitibwa Ky’omukyala and Endabada. The songs also feature K-Plus, a UK-based Ugandan singer.

Mwana Muwala, an Afrobeat track is in praise of a girl. The bouncy track, will see club goers dance to it as they will on Ekitibwa Ky’omukyala, an up-tempo song about the respect a lady deserves.

Like all controversial songs, Endabada, a veiled reference to old style bell bottom trousers, could land the singer in trouble with moralists.

The song compares the social life way back then to the current one. In it he sings: “Old men had extra marital relationships without much hassle.”

He reckons that in the new millennium, things are bad. Napoleon says it’s being played on KFM and Super FM.
