What is it about singer-cum-businesswoman Angella Katatumba? Could it be that she is the most photogenic Ugandan female luminary or has she truly touched the world with her big heart as one magazine put it?

In the last 19 months alone, Katatumba, who runs the Angella Katatumba Foundation and recently released her second album Glad I’m Alive, has graced the covers of 17 magazines with another two yet-to-be-published issues.

That is almost one cover for every month for the past 19 months!
Those we managed to see include our own City Beat, Travel Uganda, East Africa Direct, The Rock (twice), Promota Magazine UK (twice), Eyecon Magazine, Christian Life, SAS, Talk of Da Town, Sage Magazine, three French Rwandan magazines (after she did that genocide song), Drum (East Africa), Simply Black and UG Pulse (Internet Site).

At this rate, she would probably rank favourably on the Forbes list for most influential women in the East African Community.
