Over 800 children participated in the kids games at Muteesa II Stadium last Saturday and they had fun. Kids Games help children to learn how to work as a team and to always have faith in whatever they do.

The event was sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse, Crane Children network, Right to Play and Sports Friends International. Parents and wellwishers were invited to cheer the children.

Kids Games began in 1999 and have been held in 75 countries with over 600,000 children taking part.

Roxane Robbins of Samaritan’s Purse said the event is held every two years worldwide. She said children who are gifted in art and drama are given opportunities to develop their talent.
