Thugs ambush and hit their suspects with blunt objects before robbing them, many times with tragic consequences to the victim. Few have been lucky to survive albeit with serious injuries. Most of the ambushes are executed on lonely pedestrians in the night on deserted, poorly lit stretches. You need to pull your guard up. Police has warned the public to avoid deserted roads at night and to walk in groups if not in pairs.
