ALL corporate bodies that have participated in the last four editions of the MTN Kampala International marathon will be treated to a bigger picture of how society has benefited from their efforts, writes Norman Katende.

At a corporate breakfast today at Sheraton Kampala Hotel, the organisers of this year’s sh700m marathon will re-launch the event to the corporate world.

“We are going to give them an account of what the marathon has done beyond keeping people fit,” said MTN sponsorship manager Aggrey Kagonyera yesterday.

Corporate teams pay sh0.5m each, which money, together with fees of individual runners, goes towards the Red Cross Mama Bag and the displaced persons return home kit.
