The Presidential Advisor on Islamic Affairs, Hajjati Anuna Omar and her son Mohammed Omar, a Presidential Legal Assistant are on a fast path to becoming the biggest media moguls in West Nile.

Snoops say the two, who already own Arua One Radio based in Arua town, have joined forces to invest in the first ever regional television station in West Nile called Arua TV. The TV station, which, we hear, will cover not just the entire West Nile Region but also parts of DR. Congo and Southern Sudan, will be located in Arua District Municipality.

Our snoops recently overheard Omar, who doubles as the Managing Director of Arua One Radio, tell buddies that the official opening of the TV will be held in January next year. The equipment has already been shipped into the country and installation is expected to start at the end of the month.
