KAMPALA - Over twenty -five thousand children in Uganda are born with HIV/AIDS every year. Baylor Institute of Medicine Children’s Foundation chief Dr. Adeodata Kekitiinwa said “If these children could access medication, up to 75% of them would survive.”

Eight women win award

KAMPALA - Eight Ugandan women have been given the prestigious agricultural award by the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development Programme. The eight Ugandans were chosen among the 60 African ,women who competed.
