THEY were part of the artistes who entertained participants at the Uganda North American Association Convention in Florida from August 26 to 31, but they only performed at the closing ceremony.
THEY were part of the artistes who entertained participants at the Uganda North American Association Convention in Florida from August 26 to 31, but they only performed at the closing ceremony.
However, the Ugandan dynamic music duo comprising Pato and Aydee, (Ngoni), put on a spirited performance that left an impression on Batenga Nakisozi, a renowned Ugandan DJ/promoter in Boston, Massachusetts.
Subsequently, she mobilised with others in the US, to come up with a Ngoni USA tour.
The boys hit it off with a show in the windy city of Chicago on September 27, then went on to Houston, Texas, a week later, from where they moved to Washington, Maryland, the next day.
The shows have also reportedly attracted Rwandese, Burundians, Kenyans, Tanzanians and West Africans in addition to multitudes of Ugandans.
The boys crowned their tour with an Independence Day show in Boston.
