KENYAN players are expected in the country for the Uganda Table tennis Open starting today at Syttac Hall in Lugogo showground. The championship will be the first in the country to feature a competition for the disabled.

KENYAN players are expected in the country for the Uganda Table tennis Open starting today at Syttac Hall in Lugogo showground. The championship will be the first in the country to feature a competition for the disabled.

Over ten players from Nairobi and Kitale are travelling to Kampala for the three-day event that starts this morning with student action, according to national coach Jude Mutete.

The seniors’ action starts tomorrow with Ronald Nyaika and Regina Nakibuule defending the men and women crowns.

Fotogenix’s Paul Mutambuze, Jackson Migadde and Edward Kiwanuka are to defend the men’s team title while Nabumali High School’s Amina Kibone, Eva Nabulondera and Norah Kabuye are the women team title holders.
