When will Uganda stop asking for aid?

This leaves an ordinary Ugandan asking: When will Uganda stop asking for aid? Where does the taxpayers’ money go? We have several taxes including Pay as You Earn, Local Service Tax and Value Added Tax.

These taxes are exorbitant and weigh heavily on people’s pockets. I think our development partners should regulate the money given to developing countries as this increases corruption. This can be clearly seen from the recent Global Fund scandals.
