<b>LCs with no toilets will be arrested</b><br>NAMUTUMBA-All LC chairpersons, who do not have toilets, will be arrested, the district chairperson, Michael Saire, has warned. Saire was addressing LC officials of Ivukula sub-county during a one-day sensitisation seminar.

NAMUTUMBA-All LC chairpersons, who do not have toilets, will be arrested, the district chairperson, Michael Saire, has warned. Saire was addressing LC officials of Ivukula sub-county during a one-day sensitisation seminar. He said the chairpersons were not leading exemplary lives, adding that because they feared being arrested by the Police, they sabotaged operations mounted to net people without toilets.

Youth plan to protest sackings
BUKEDEA-The youth are threatening to demonstrate against the sacking of two of their leaders over allegations of fraud. The district community development officer, Marion Akwap, accused the district youth chairman, John Michael Odeke, of misappropriating sh2.7m meant for youth poultry projects in the district. Odeke also reportedly failed to account for sh760,000 he received last year to organise the executive youth council meeting in the district. James Aolikol, the secretary general, was accused of failing to account for sh1.7m he received last year to organise two youth council meetings.

Constable’s skeleton found
KAMULI-A skeleton of a Police constable, who went missing four weeks ago, has been recovered. Wilson Sosolo’s remains were found in Stephen Mukembo’s farm in Kiwoleera village, Nabwigulu sub-county, on Friday. The district Police commander, Frank Abalawuwe, said Sosolo, who was attached to Busota Police post, escaped from Kamuli Hospital where he was being treated for cerebral malaria. He said Sosolo developed the disease last month while in ditention for negligence following the death of a suspect at his station. “He must have strayed into the farm which was flooded with water and drowned,” Abalawuwe said.
