All my hard work paid off

THIRTEEN year old Anita Badagawa (pictured with her father) of Kampala parents’ school attributes her success to commitment and hard work. “I sacrificed playing for revising my books; whenever the little sister wanted to play I used to say no.”

Badagawa, who enjoys swimming says the monthly tests at school were harder compared to PLE. They paved the way to her success.

A smiling Badagawa explains that Maths was the simplest subject. “It is a matter of practicing everyday and playing about with numbers, a trick my teacher Esta Mulwana taught me.”

Badagawa, a resident of Nansana in Wakiso district experienced eye problems during the examination period. However God answered her prayers and she made it.
Badagawa, who wants to be an electrical engineer, wants to join Namagunga Girls’ School.
