THE Kids League soccer side’s bid to top Group C in the Copa De La Amistad in Peru was frustrated by home side Team Mayer.
In an extraordinary game at Videna Stadium on Wednesday, Team Mayer were awarded two second half penalties.
Ugandan side TKL were handed a red card that made it difficult to get victory against the South Americans.
In a show of true African skills, Emma Magembe and Ibrahim ‘Saddam’ Juma produced two stunning goals to put TKL ahead.
Juma later got TKL’s third goal
The two penalty “gifts†to Team Mayer were converted by Eshael Ledesma. The referee then showed a red card to a puzzled TKL star Anthony Papira.
