Rain disrupts basketball final

HEAVY rain halted the finals of the Miracle Invitational basketball tournament held at the Rubaga courts over the weekend.

HEAVY rain halted the finals of the Miracle Invitational basketball tournament held at the Rubaga courts over the weekend.
The tournament’s semi-finals and finals were postponed to March 3 at the same venue.
Prior to the rain, Miracle B topped pool A after edging Falcons 25-24 and later bundled defending champions Sadolin Power out of the event with a 32-23 defeat. In pool B, Warriors’ Stephen Okias scored 12 points and sealed a 45-40 victory over Crane High to put his team into the semi finals.
