The sale of shares of Kampala City Council Football Club that was to start today has been switched to end of this month. “There are a few issues to be finalised with the bankers and stakeholders,” KCC official Tom Omongole said yesterday. The club is putting on sale 10m shares at sh5000 each.

Ugandans win
Harry Larubi won gold in the 800m while silver medals were won by Tony Okello in the mile and 1500m, Janet Jesang in the 3000m and 5000m and Sarah Nambawa in the 800m at the American college indoor championships over the weekend.

Egyptian coach
Egyptian handball expert Khaled Hammouda is in the country to train local coaches basics under the Olympic Solidarity programme. A six-day level 1 course for 25 participants will run till Saturday at Serena Hotel and Kibuli grounds for theories and practicals. Handball head Abbas Mubiru said the course targets at improving handball players in the country.
